Engineering Engineering
We provide civil engineering services for some of Central, Southside and Western Virginia’s largest residential, commercial and industrial projects.
Environmental Environmental
Hurt & Proffitt’s geologists, environmental scientists and technicians provide an array of services, including Phase I site assessments, governmental regulation compliance and environmental permit applications.
Geotechnical Geotechnical
Our geotechnical division operates two truck-mounted drill rigs for foundation investigations and studies.
Land Development Land Development
Our land development division provides complete design services on residential, commercial, educational and industrial projects.
Surveying Surveying
Hurt & Proffitt has seven fully-outfitted survey crews. We provide boundary, right-of-way, topographical, transportation, aerial, utility, route location, GPS and construction stakeout.
Testing & Inspection Testing & Inspection
Soils and concrete testing, permeability testing, CBR and soil compressive strength testing, particle size analysis equipment for soil and aggregate, organic impurities test equipment and much more.
