This is a big – really big – power generation facility, built and operated jointly by Dominion Virginia Power and Old Dominion Electric Cooperative. It’s an 800-megawatt (two 400-mw coal-fueled turbines) plant in Halifax County, VA Capital investment totaled more than $2 billion.

Hurt & Proffitt provided surveying (topo, boundary, and construction) and construction testing and inspection services. Our inspectors worked on the project for more than four years.
