Federal Courthouse - Western VA District

We do our designs justice.
When a new federal courthouse was proposed for Lynchburg, as one of those in the judiciary’s Western District of Virginia, Hurt & Proffitt’s engineers, surveyors, and planners were called upon for service.
This new facility makes good use of an old school in Lynchburg’s downtown historic district. The current three-story school has been renovated while a new five-story addition has been added. This 86,000 square foot project has a capital cost of nearly $20 million.
Hurt & Proffitt provided all surveying, civil engineering, site design, and geotechnical services. |
